We are currently sourcing for an Executive Assistant for our NHS client based in Bodmin. To provide oversight and coordination of all business support and administration processes that contribute towards the safe and effective running of the Executive Board Director's office and portfolio.
To ensure the provision of a fully comprehensive administrative and business support service working closely with the executive board director to remove unnecessary demands and pressures, working in a professional, efficient and confidential manner. Acting as first point of contact for all communications and ensure all enquires are acted on or re-directed appropriately.
Days of Work:
Hourly Rate: £15.50
Hours of Work: 37hrs per week, need to be flexible on the start or finish times
Days of Work: 2-3 days are on site and the other days can be remote
Duration: 3 - 6 months with a possible extension
Location: Bodmin
What will you be doing
Management of multiple diaries frequently across both health and social care organisations often with a number of senior managers/directors to arrange meetings as required, requiring tact, diplomacy and good negotiation skills to secure mutually agreed outcomes.
Skills & Experience required to apply for this role
Previous NHS experience
Fluent Written & Spoken English
Experience working at a similar level in an administrative role, ideally as a PA or Senior business support role
Proven high level experience of using MS Office applications (word/excel/PowerPoint)
Ability to work on own initiative and take decisions on behalf of manager where and when appropriate
Set up and maintain effective administrative office systems both electronic and paper based
Organise meetings and take comprehensive accurate minutes
