You will be accountable for delivery of annual revenue targets for group, meeting & events segments across London, UK and Europe by leading a newly formed team that manages inbound groups, meetings and events enquiries from conversion through to seamless handover; creating and implementing edyn best practises and processes; and defining and leading on our groups, meetings and events proposition. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a Groups and Events Reactive Sales Team, driving a high performing culture, developing solid, detailed processes and SOPs that deliver a best in class guest journey, maximise conversion and ensure we are operating in the most efficient and productive manner at all times. Ensure dynamic and effective selling processes and guidelines are in place to enable the Reactive Sales Team to effectively execute on strategies ensuring Group, Meeting & Events budgets, team, and individual KPIs are achieved. Responsible for all areas of people management from recruitment and induction through to managing workload and resource distribution as well as training and coaching, ensuring personal development plans are in place for every team member. Work closely with property, close to property and central sales teams to agree performance metrics and implement selling strategies to drive Group, Meetings & Events revenues across the portfolio. Work closely with sales, commercial and operational teams alongside our 3rd party F&B operators to partner with them in order to create, evaluate and drive improvements in our groups, meetings and events proposition, creating a consistent and on-brand guest experience across the portfolio. Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and establish clear cross-functional alignment across the business including finance, revenue, operations and 3rd party F&B partners. Share market, performance and client insights, providing strategic input and feedback for group, meetings and events forecasting and budgets. Implement and maintain a well-coordinated handover process for all bookings to operational teams, supporting flawless execution and client satisfaction by working closely with central, close to property and on-property sales teams to define and maintain best practises. Champion the implementation and use of systems such as Delphi.fdc ensuring full configuration and optimisation to enhance workflows, efficiencies, internal and external documentation, enables strategic insight and data-based decision making. Based at London or Bristol primarily, with travel required to both sites. You will also have the flexibility to travel to other sites across the UK and Europe as and when required by the business.
