Dansworks is a Performing Arts School that offers a variety of classes in different styles, including Hip Hop, Break Dance, Street Dance, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, and more. We provide classes for individuals of all abilities, including those with special or additional needs, in the local community venues.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Street Dance Teacher located in Bacup. The Street Dance Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering street dance classes, choreographing routines, and providing guidance to students. The role involves teaching both children and adults, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
* Strong Street Dance, Hip Hop, and Break Dance skills
* Experience in choreographing dance routines
* Ability to interact and engage with students of all ages
* Understanding of dance techniques and styles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Certification or training in dance instruction is a plus
* Experience working with individuals with special needs is beneficial
