We are currently seeking an experienced IT Desktop Coordinator to join our dynamic IT team and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and IT support services across the organization.
Role Overview:
As an IT Desktop Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing, troubleshooting, and supporting desktop systems and hardware for our internal teams. You will be responsible for coordinating IT support services, maintaining desktop environments, and ensuring that end users receive effective IT solutions to meet their daily needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* User Support
* IT Project Management
* Provide timely and efficient technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Assist in the preparation and implementation of IT upgrades and patches to ensure systems remain secure and up to date.
* Develop and maintain accurate documentation for desktop configurations, support requests, and IT policies.
* Collaborate with the IT team to provide training and support to staff on various IT systems and tools.
* Ensure IT assets (laptops, desktops, monitors, etc.) are properly tracked, allocated, and replaced as necessary.
* Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for hardware repairs and software licensing management.
* Contribute to the development of IT policies and best practices for desktop support services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an IT Support Technician, Desktop Coordinator, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
* Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
* Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
