A highly sought-after school in Harrow is looking to secure a Behaviour Co-ordinator to start in January 2025.

Behaviour Co-ordinator
The school is looking to secure a Behaviour Co-ordinator to start in January 2025 on an ongoing assignment. This will be a brand new role for the school, providing a real opportunity for the successful candidate to make a significant impact. The focus of this role will be on student welfare, supporting staff, coordinating behaviour systems, and working closely with parents and carers.
Main Duties:
1. Assist the Headteacher in the overall management and development of the school.
2. Under the reasonable direction of the Assistant Head and Deputy Head - Behaviour & Safeguarding, carry out the professional duties of a Behaviour Coordinator as set out below.
3. Work with SLT, Heads of Year, and Faculty Leaders to oversee and implement the school's behaviour policy and to promote the school's core values.
4. Support the Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher Behaviour & Safeguarding in the development of behaviour management across the school.
5. Support all staff to ensure high standards of behaviour around the school at all times, so that the best possible standards of teaching and learning are achieved.
6. Work collaboratively with learners and parents/carers to promote positive behaviour and help learners overcome barriers to learning.
7. Coach, support, and train staff to implement behaviour interventions.
Experience Needed:
1. Experience working with disadvantaged children in a school or similar setting.
2. Experience running 1:1 behaviour sessions with children and training staff on behaviour.
3. Knowledge of equal opportunities and approaches to Inclusion.
