Supplier Assurance Specialist

Job Description:
* Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
* Travel to supplier sites, primarily within Europe, approximately 1 visit per month on average to perform on-site audits
* Review supplier documentation, processes, and facilities to evaluate adherence to quality standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality and Operations, to address any identified issues or non-conformances
* Provide detailed audit reports and recommendations for improvement
* Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain comprehensive audit records and databases
* Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or life sciences quality assurance or compliance role
* Strong understanding of GMP and GDP regulations and their application
* Demonstrated experience conducting supplier audits and assessments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Willingness to travel within Europe on a regular basis
* Previous experience in an auditing or quality assurance role
