The Reward & Information Systems Team at the University of Huddersfield is looking for someone experienced in making sense of complex data with exceptional attention to detail.
You will primarily work closely with HR related data; helping the team to compile annual statutory reports as well as generating reports on a regular basis to share information with key stakeholders within the University. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential to your role and experience of working with large scale reporting suites utilising Structured Query Language (SQL) would be beneficial. You will also play a key part in projects that develop the systems and technology used within the department by conducting testing and producing user guidance.
Educated to HND level or with equivalent experience, you will have significant skills that enable you to produce outputs that match detailed user/technical requirements. The role requires someone who is not afraid to embrace technology and develop the technical skills required to keep up with the tools needed to share information. Training will be provided to expand any technical knowledge or skills that will help you perform your role.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all.
For informal enquiries, please contact the Information Systems Development Manager, Andrea McComb via email, a.mccomb@hud.ac.uk.
