About The Role
East Kent Colleges Group is seeking an Estates Assistant to join EKC Canterbury College. As an Estates Assistant, you will play a key role in the Estates team, providing caretaking services across the college. The role involves a wide range of estate functions.
Your responsibilities will include unlocking and locking buildings, setting intruder alarms before and after operational hours, including weekends, and being a responsible key holder. You will also be part of the on-call team.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious team member who can work independently or as part of a team. You should be flexible, well-organized, and able to work under pressure.
Experience or knowledge in estate and building maintenance, good DIY skills, and understanding of health and safety, fire alarm, and emergency light testing are desirable. Enthusiasm is more important than experience.
The successful candidate will preferably live within 20 minutes of the campus.
