About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher educator who will join the team as a tutor on the PGCE programme, engaging in relevant teaching, supervision and assessment of Student Teachers, visiting schools based in London on a regular basis and being involved in the Secondary PGCE programme in the first instance.
Versatility to work across more than one programme will be considered an advantage. The role will include supporting the Subject Lead in their excellent provision in the broad field of Languages within ITE.

About you
The successful candidate must have a degree in a relevant subject (Spanish/French/German), Qualified Teacher Status (or the equivalent) and substantial teaching experience within the secondary phase of education and within the field of Languages. In addition, they will be familiar with London schools and have a working familiarity with the Teachers Standards, due to their experience of working with early stage teachers to contribute to their progress. They will also have experience of successfully leading teams of teachers
