Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced leader who will be non-class based with a 0.5 teaching commitment working with groups across the school.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our outstanding leadership team at the beginning of our journey, establishing and joining a new Multi Academy Trust.
We are looking for someone who:
1. is a highly motivated, innovative and effective teacher.
2. has a proven track record of raising standards of attainment and in leading whole school improvement.
3. has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. is passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
5. can demonstrate a deep understanding of current educational initiatives and curriculum requirements across the Primary phase (with specific KS2 experience).
6. has experience in coaching and mentoring staff, using evidence-based approaches to improve teaching practice.
7. uses data effectively to monitor progress and identify groups of children requiring further support.
8. supports the Headteacher in implementing school development plans and monitoring teaching quality.
9. acts as a role model for outstanding classroom practice, setting high standards in teaching, learning, and behaviour management.
10. has the ability to work in partnership and forge strong links with parents, staff, governors and the wider community.
11. is a team player with a positive outlook and a good sense of humour.
