Role: Project Accountant - 6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Summary of Role
We are looking for a qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar) finance team member with strong finance system implementation experience, excellent analytical and data manipulation skills, and track record of independently improving processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Finance lead for upgraded Deltek system implementation and introduction of related process changes
* Understand revenue recognition principles and requirements and ensure they are effectively translated into process and system functionality
* Drive introduction and standardisation of finance reports within PowerBI to improve efficiency and support decision-making processes
* Build relationships and collaborate with Research colleagues & help them improve ways of working
* Provide detailed financial analysis to support Research teams in managing project finances and identify areas for improvement
* Develop clear guidance for new processes
* Prepare and deliver internal training for non-finance colleagues
* Dealing with requests for general data and any ad hoc duties.
To perform any other reasonable duties that NatCen may require that are consistent with the broad nature of the job.
