Job Title: Child Residential Worker

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide care and support to children and young people in a residential home, helping them with their day-to-day routines.
2. Support individuals with PMLD, complex medical needs, and autism to achieve their personal goals and build independence.
3. Create a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect, equality, and well-being.
4. Encourage personal growth and life skills through engaging activities and community outings.
5. Assist with personal care and participate in physical interventions when needed.

7. Are patient, proactive, and enthusiastic about helping young people overcome challenges.
8. Enjoy working in a residential environment and contributing to the emotional and social development of young people.
9. Are creative problem solvers with a flexible approach.
10. Are fully committed to safeguarding and the well-being of children.
11. Possess excellent communication skills, especially with young people who have specific communication needs.
12. Have a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent).
13. Are open to further training and qualifications, fully funded by us.
