As part of the Retail Business Assurance & Support development programme, you’ll develop skills in different work situations, contributing to the development and improvement of processes, products and services in your department.
Over the course of 2-years, you’ll rotate around the Customer Resolution teams with the option of studying toward role-related qualifications. You will build your skills and knowledge throughout your time in Customer Resolution, gaining experience that will prepare you for a Retail Business Support Consultant role or similar and help propel your career within Nationwide.
We’ll need you to build rewarding relationships across the organisation and externally to understand customer needs, resolve problems and support the delivery of the Society blueprint.
You’ll also attend development workshops and complete any set qualifications and training aligned to achieve your best.
Our Retail function is made up of Retail Products, Retail Operations and Retail Services and together they develop and deliver compelling banking and saving products for our customers, supported by excellent services that bring our Blueprint for a Modern Mutual to life. Approximately 3,000 colleagues work towards our mission to provide the best mortgage service in the UK.
Location

What you’ll be doing
On the Business Assurance & Support programme, you’ll develop towards the role of a Business Support Consultant over a 2-year period gaining the knowledge, skills and network our Retail function requires.
The programme journey will focus on developing knowledge of risk & control principles & methodologies, report writing and expert stakeholder engagement including at executive levels. You will have exposure to multiple teams and projects to build a breadth of experience to support an enhanced career trajectory.
To support your journey to become a Business Support Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to gain role-related qualifications.
You’ll gain access to a bespoke 18-month learning journey to develop core business skills that complement role-specific development and you’ll meet and work alongside a range of diverse like-minded individuals from across the organisation.

Entry requirements:

You’ll need to have:
* English and Maths GCSEs grades 9-4 (A*-C)
And either:
* An undergraduate degree in any discipline
* Or 2-years work experience in relevant Financial, Retail or other Professional Services
