Active Vetcare Summerleaze (Maidenhead)
CALLING ALL REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSES IN THE BERKSHIRE AREA!
Summerleaze Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic and friendly team.
You will work a 40-hour week over 4 days, with shifts of either 7am-5:30pm or 9am-7:30pm + 1:6 Saturdays (7:30am-7:30pm). We will consider flexible working options as well.
You would be joining a team of 6 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 2 PCAs (not including the Midnight team).
As a practice, we constantly strive to do our best for our colleagues and patients. Learning is important to us, meaning we are seeking an individual that is happy to mentor and support others in their career progression, as well as receiving support themselves. Being a clinical coach, or having a willingness to undertake the training would be beneficial for the role.
The nursing team is encouraged to develop in their areas of interest, and progression is actively supported. Members of our nursing team currently hold advanced certificates in medicine and ECC, and the use of schedule 3 skills is supported.
We are a 24-hour site, with a separate OOH service. A significant benefit of this is the case variety and specifically the opportunity for hands-on nursing of complex cases.
Across CVS, we have also just launched our brand new Nurse Career Pathway, which is an exciting new concept to allow you to be the nurse you want to be. Want to know more? Check the video out - https://vimeo.com/904977057/532bcae978?share=copy
Apart from working alongside a fantastic team, you get to enjoy the following fantastic benefits:
* Salary of £25,000 to £30,000 (with yearly salary review)
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays (+ 1 additional day every year, up to 5 years), as well as the opportunity to sell/buy up to 2 weeks holiday
* VDS and RCVS fees covered
* CVS pension scheme
* Staff discount
* Employee assistance programme
* Save as you Earn scheme
* Voluntary Private Medical insurance scheme
* Health cash plan
* Fantastic Maternity, Paternity & joint parental leave plans
* Fertility & pregnancy loss policy
