Support Manager (Care Homes)
Lowestoft, Suffolk
Up to £65,000 per year + monthly car allowance + PRP
I am working with a fabulous family-owned care home company to help them find an Experienced Support Manager to oversee the operations and ensure the highest standards of care across various care homes
In this post you will:
- Ensure that the homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment and provide effective leadership and management
- Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development
- Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets
- Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks
- Maintain and enhance the quality of care and environment provided to residents
- Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed
For this great role you must have:
- NMC registration as a Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
- Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
