Senior Creative within an exciting exhibition business We are looking for dynamic, driven, and talented Head of Creative / Senior Creative. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, artistic licence, visualisation skills, as well team leadership abilities. The role is based at our office in Farnborough working with a creative team. Tecna UK transform ideas into unforgettable display experiences. Working with B2B clients and agencies we turn their ideas into amazing exhibition stands, conference sets and experiential activations – working from design to installation. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong design skills gained through extended time in the creative industry and the ability to think differently, generating innovative ideas and exploring the different resolutions to a brief. They must be able to set and maintain standards of ideation and presentation and be a creative champion across all aspect of the business. A key aspect of the role is mentoring a budding creative team to grow in their creative and technical abilities. The ability to create artwork for print is beneficial. Day to Day: - Champion creativity across the business, driving new ideas forward to achieve a repeatable and profitable outcome. - Working strategically with the head of sales to engage with suppliers and partners to bring new ideas to life. - Set the standard for how ideas, sketches, and written client briefs are translated and presented as exciting 3D designs. - Support the team in identifying client’s brand, target audience, key messaging, and market position to ensure concepts align with their goals. - Attend high level client meetings to aid in the successful capture of a project brief alongside the sales team. - Create tools to facilitate consistent and creative storytelling including concept presentations, mood boards, floor plans, and renderings. - Set and maintain pricing processes alongside the head of sales to produce accurate cost and sale estimations. - Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, competitors, materials etc. - Mentor the junior team to grow in their creative and technical abilities, including providing considered problem resolution where applicable. The successful candidate will require the following: - Present a strong portfolio demonstrating visualisation and presentation ability in multiple styles. - Clear understanding of design intent, technical build capabilities, and the impact of H&S regulations and on-site considerations on project outcomes. Experience in the exhibition or event industry is extremely beneficial. - Strong commercial awareness, with an ability to build and maintain supplier relationships. - Experience in building and managing a diverse team. - Exceptional eye for detail. - Good communicator, strong ability to listen, reflect, and act, as well as to provide consistent and constructive feedback to the team. - Excellent knowledge of the Adobe suite. - Excellent organisational skills – ability to manage multiple projects and ensure time is utilised efficiently across the team. - Experience with SketchUp and V-ray preferred, other 3D visualisation software and animation skills advantageous. - Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with input from multiple stakeholders working towards a unified goal. Salary is negotiable dependant on Experiance from £50,000 - £75,000 per annum.
