About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Applications Manager to join the Sunbelt Rentals IT Team. You will take a hands-on approach to configuration changes and be responsible for planning and managing platform upgrades/patches, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions to updated versions, along with planning and prioritising enhancements with business owners.
You will work closely with the Test Manager to develop regression test plans and automate these processes where possible using a risk-based methodology.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Maximizing value from core SaaS / COTS platforms
* Proactively planning and managing a forward schedule of work related to upgrades and enhancements
* Making configuration changes to platforms
* Embedding and following best practices for platform implementations and configurations, focusing on security and operational efficiency
* Liaising with key stakeholders and teams
* Engaging with the Change Board to ensure properly managed and approved deployments
* Developing and building relationships with business product owners and stakeholders
* Liaising with vendor managers on renewals and licensing requirements
* Managing role and persona configurations, reviewing and monitoring allocations to ensure compliance
* Working with Infrastructure and Security teams to set up and manage monitoring tools across products
This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with occasional travel to the central Support Office (Birchwood Park, Warrington).
