About the Company:

With a strong portfolio of successful projects and a growing pipeline, they are looking for a meticulous and driven Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and accurate mechanical estimates for commercial, education, and other project sectors.
* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify materials, labor, and resource requirements.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure accurate pricing.
* Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns and submit detailed tender proposals.
* Assist in value engineering solutions to provide competitive pricing while maintaining quality.
* Support project handovers by providing key insights and knowledge on awarded contracts.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction or M&E sector.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing installations.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Full UK driving license.
