We're thrilled to announce that we're hiring a Duty Manager to join our team at the Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre.

Our team of Duty Managers undertake the day-to-day operational management of the facility. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment where no two days are the same. As a Duty Manager reporting to the Operations Managers, the successful candidate will have various management responsibilities including:
* The health & safety of customers and our team
* Marketing and programming
* Customer care
* Staff supervision
* Recruitment, training, and development
Full training will be provided, and candidates will have the opportunity to expand their leadership style by joining our Reach Programme for middle managers. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent organisation skills, be sensitive to customer needs, and have a thorough understanding of the health and safety issues that relate to a busy leisure centre. You must have some experience in the management of a large leisure facility together with the ability to communicate with and supervise a large and varied staff team.
You should have a further qualification in leisure or a related field, a current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification, and a First Aid at Work qualification. Recognised training and/or coaching qualifications, Pool Plant Operators certificate, and working knowledge of IT systems are also desirable.
