Northwest Supported Living Service are seeking a caring, compassionate & enthusiastic individual to support a deaf gentleman with Learning Disabilities in his own home & in his local community of Carlisle. The work can be challenging but highly rewarding, and the support provided can make a real difference to his life. This is a specialist British Sign Language Support and Development Worker post. The hours will be worked over a 24-hour period, seven days a week and will include weekends and involve sleep-in duties.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
