This role is crucial in fostering a culture of collaboration and safety, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across diverse projects. Key Responsibilities: Drive the implementation of the Safe, Sustainable, and Wellbeing (SSW) Strategy. Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and standards. Conduct site inspections, audits, and training to maintain high safety and environmental performance. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to develop and embed health, safety, and environmental best practices. Support project mobilisation through the creation of key documentation, training, and KPI establishment. Lead investigations into incidents and drive continuous improvement initiatives. What Were Looking For: NEBOSH Diploma/NCRQ Diploma (essential). Significant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within construction or infrastructure sectors (e.g., rail, tunnelling, energy). Proven expertise in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and CDM regulations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
