The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area (LHR depot) We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday days or nights
Pay Rate:
Days: £16.72 per hour PAYE
Nights: £18.55 per hour PAYE
Location:Weybridge, KT13
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Internation work
Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Filling out daily timesheets and analysing paperwork against load on board
Reporting any discrepancies
Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
Minimum of 6 months experience required
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
