Senior Project Manager

We currently have several Telecoms Infrastructure projects ongoing for our Rail customers across Scotland & England. You'll be responsible for managing our customer relationships as well as the overall management and coordination of upcoming projects. This is a hybrid role with a flexible working location; however, travel to customer sites/depots in Scotland and England will be required.
What You'll Do:
1. Developing the overall project delivery and reporting processes to ensure delivery of assigned projects meet relevant standards and timeframes.
2. Acting as the customer interface for Telent on any allocated project.
3. The financial performance and reporting of all projects to both Telent and Customer stakeholders.
4. Providing detailed and regular project reviews, reports, and KPIs for both Telent and client review.
5. The contractual Quality and Health & Safety for all projects.
6. Providing leadership and direction for the Project team.
7. Planning and ensuring the correct resource is booked and available to deliver the project (internal and external).
8. Subcontract selection and management.
9. Ensuring material orders are placed on time and within the agreed budget.
10. Undertaking regular Site Safety Inspections on project portfolio to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
11. Supporting the bid team as required for tenders and responses.
Who you are:
You will have previous experience in a similar role ideally within the rail or other relevant industries (Telecoms/Civil Engineering). You will have experience managing a portfolio of projects, upwards of £4M.
Key requirements:
1. Formal PM Qualification (APM, PMP, Prince 2) or equivalent experience.
2. Excellent knowledge of Profit & Loss accounts and cash flow forecasting.
3. Excellent financial and commercial experience of managing multi-million-pound business critical projects.
4. Ability to direct teams in large complex environments.
5. Sound Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
6. Experience of managing complex customer and end user relationships.
