As finance manager you will be part of a team whereby you are managing the month-end processes, line managing the team and working closely with the Head of Finance. Description
As Finance Manager, you will line manage 3 experienced transactional team members, as well as:
* Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly and that the team feel supported should they have queries.
* Manage the month-end closing processes as well as being responsible for audit during year-end.
* Ensure accurate ledgers i.e. accurate debtor processes and timely payments.
* Responsible for all annual financial compliance activities.
* Support the delivery of timely and accurate financial reports to meet relevant requirements.
* Contribute to strategic decision-making alongside the Finance Director.
* Ensure that the finance team's work directly supports the success of the business and drives financial efficiency.
* Oversee the expenses process.
* Implement continuous improvement measures to improve the efficiency of both ledgers.
* Ad hoc project work.
Profile
* ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in all-round management accounts
* Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
* Experience using accounting systems such as Sage 50, SAP, XERO or Oracle
* A proactive and "can-do" approach
* Experience within professional services (desirable)
