Working closely with the Sales Team of this Global Electronics company, you will be involved with accrual balances, expenses, and Month end close for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions.
This Sales Accountant / Accounts Assistant role is a Hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days office-based work at their Wellingborough, NN8, Northamptonshire site.
Salary: £35,000 basic plus up to 10% company bonus, contributory pension, life assurance, Bupa (covering existing medical conditions), dental cash plan, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with service, and staff discount scheme for company products.
The Accounts Assistant / Sales Accountant role will involve:
* Ensuring the correct approval of customer program expenses consistent with customer agreements.
* Month end close.
* Raising accrual balances and addressing levels of spend concerns.
* Maintaining and reconciling schedules of accrual balances.
* Producing monthly reports.
The requirements for this Accounts/Sales Accountant role will suit someone who is:
* CIMA/ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified or qualified through experience.
* An excellent communicator.
* Possesses a good understanding of accrual accounting and month end procedures.
* Knowledgeable in posting journals and account reconciliations.
* Has intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
* Possesses general financial accounting systems knowledge.
