We’re a specialist transport planning consultancy with five offices across the UK (London, Manchester, Basingstoke, Leeds, and Solent) and around 70 team members. Each year, we welcome graduates/trainees into our team to help deliver diverse and exciting development projects nationwide.
Our work spans a wide range of projects - from gallery extensions to Garden Villages, ports, and even a Ryder Cup-standard golf course. Transport planning is one of the most debated aspects of new development, and our work helps shape layouts that prioritise active travel and improve connectivity within communities. Key to this is an analytical and constructive approach to assessing the transport network. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, working closely with stakeholders, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
This is an exciting time to be a transport planner. With changing travel patterns, and a growing focus on visioning and sustainability, our industry is evolving rapidly. At i-Transport, you’ll help create innovative transport solutions that address climate, public health, and accessibility challenges while supporting thriving communities.
We invest fully in our graduates/trainees, who we see as the future of our business. Our comprehensive Development Programme combines technical training, real-world experience, and professional accreditation support, providing a solid foundation for your long-term career.
