ABOUT THE ROLE As a Team Leader at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll supervise and motivate your multidisciplinary team to provide care and support to patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. You'll ensure your team fully complies with NMC guidance for medication administration and follows all clinical policies regarding the safe ordering, custody, storing, disposal, recording, and administration of medication.
ABOUT YOU To join as a Team Leader, you'll need to be an ambitious Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. You'll also need an up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of Practice. You should have experience of producing well-developed care plans, undertaking risk assessments, and working as part of a clinical team. Most importantly, you'll be compassionate yet robust, dedicated to making sure our patients receive the quality care they deserve.
