Project Manager - M&E Engineering

12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary - £60,000
We have an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK at a well-known museum in Swindon, looking after large, small, and extra works. In this role, you will work 3 days per week out of this facility with additional days spent working across the rest of the business's sites, allowing for travel across South England & London. You will be required to have a strong M&E Technical background with experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and this role will be working very closely with the on-site client 3 days a week, requiring someone from a client-facing background.
You will need experience managing projects and delivering works until the handover and close-out phase of the project. You will also be required to have experience with project management methodologies and tech spec experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project works, from planning to completion.
2. Team Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
3. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
4. Safety Oversight: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
5. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any issues promptly to keep the project on track.
Experience required as a Project Manager:
1. Qualifications: Black or Gold Card is essential for this position, with the ideal candidate from an electrical background.
2. Experience: Proven experience as a Project Supervisor, particularly in roof replacement or similar construction projects.
3. Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
4. Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control procedures in construction.
5. Availability: Ability to start by the end of July and commit to the full project duration.
6. Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders and reporting progress accurately.
