Service Coordinator
Are you an experienced Service Coordinator with a background in engineering, manufacturing, or distribution? We are recruiting for a leading engineering company, offering a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic service team.
This is a fantastic opportunity with a hybrid working pattern which offers working one day in the office and four days working from home.
The Role:
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department by coordinating field service activities, liaising with customers, and supporting engineers.
You will be responsible for managing service schedules, processing orders, and maintaining excellent customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and allocate service jobs for field engineers, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely response to customer requests.
* Customer Support: Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling service inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
* Project Management: Oversee the delivery of services, ensuring that all client needs are met on time. Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that align with client expectations.
* Parts & Inventory Management: Assist in ordering parts and ensuring service teams have the necessary tools and equipment.
* Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service reports, work orders, and invoicing.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, sales teams, and suppliers to deliver a seamless service experience.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a service coordination, service administration, or operations support role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in using ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive approach with problem-solving abilities.
