Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our inpatient therapy team at North Cotswolds Hospital. The post is ward based at the Hospital, providing physiotherapy assessment and intervention to patients. Main duties of the job The post holder will assess, formulate, evaluate and monitor specialised rehabilitation packages which will involve complex decision making within the Community Hospital. This role will require negotiation and co-ordination of a number of team members to deliver the specialised rehabilitation programmes to the patients on the ward. The post holder will be required to provide leadership and support to the rehabilitation assistants, health care assistants and other staff within the MDT, clinical support and training as appropriate. All aspects of clinical duties will be carried out as an autonomous practitioner, with access to guidance from specialised clinicians within the Trust.
