If you answered yes to the above, then we have an exciting opportunity you'd like to hear about for a Purchasing Administrator role, within our group Procurement department.
As Purchasing Administrator you will report to the Procurement Manager, supporting the department by maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and helping to source goods and services which meet the quality expectations of the organisation.
A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and at least 2 years experience within a similar role would be highly beneficial.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Respond promptly and efficiently to requests for information, maintaining a customer focus.
* Broad understanding of passenger vehicles - efficiently carry out vehicle inspections and train employees on how to handle the pool vehicles.
* Seek and deliver best value when making purchases, in line with best Procurement practices.
* Invoice checks and approvals within automated invoicing system for your categories, and support wider Commercial team where required.
* Support Procurement Manager and Finance with month end reporting - reviewing actual vs budget variances within department.
* Proactively develop and implement more efficient processes and systems to support the role.
* Help to educate the wider business on Procurement processes and build the department's profile.
* Compliance ensured with both Health & Safety & GDPR legislation.
As our future Purchasing Administrator, you will:
* Monitor and improve service levels for internal customers.
* Accurately check and approve invoices in a timely manner - any queries actioned and resolved swiftly.
* Demonstrate good prioritisation and organisation skills, utilising Microsoft Outlook, Sharepoint and TEAMS Planner.
* Be honest, ethical, and sustainable.
* Support Procurement Manager to contribute to commercial objectives by delivering best value.
* Support Procurement Manager to lead change and embed group efficiencies.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills.
* Have experience of building 'Great Relationships' and working collaboratively.
* Be team-oriented attitude.
* Have attention to detail.
