Social Network: Leader Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside children with ASD in the local area. Within this role, you will be working with children who are on different levels of the spectrum. You will be expected to work with a child on a one-to-one basis, ensuring you are following their IEP or EHCP to give them the best support. Due to the unpredictability of this role, you will be able to adapt quickly and ensure you make learning accessible to every child. You may work across a range of different ages but will tend to work alongside a single child daily. This is an incredibly rewarding role, and you will have a chance to really make a difference in children's lives.
Role Requirements
For this role, experience is not required, but it is desirable. You should have a passion and understanding of ASD and the drive to make a difference. You should be empathetic and proactive to ensure you meet the needs of every student you work with. If you have a background in Youth Work, Sport, Army, Police, Prison, or Creative Arts such as Music or Art, then please apply!
