About The Role An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Domestic & General Transformation team as a Project Manager. Key Responsibilities Work with the Project Sponsor and Owner to set up the Project with clear definition and measurable success criteria aligning to the OKR framework. Support the Sponsor to create the business case, including the project definition, the approach, resource requirements, costs, benefit, delivery plan and risk analysis. Work with the Sponsor, Owner, Programme Director and resource owners to agree resourcing required to deliver the project. Work with the key stakeholders to create the delivery plan to successfully land the change including identifying key dependencies and dependencies between teams. Establish appropriate governance disciplines in line with the agreed delivery model. Maintain all D&G project management tools and works in line with the Group standard. Establish and oversees project controls to provide early indication of any risks impacting ability to deliver required outcomes within agreed tolerances. Taking early action to manage any risk or issue. Delivery of all phases of assigned projects/changes to time, cost and quality targets. Manage the day-to-day relationship with the business customer and communication with key stakeholders, building strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure buy-in, commitment to deliver and pro-active resolution of issues. Day to day delivery responsibility ensuring delivery of key dependencies are delivered on time avoiding delays. Oversight of project costs so they are managed and controlled within agreed budgets. Where required work with third party suppliers and external services providers who are delivering products and services to the projects, including ensuring that required supplier contracts are in place. Deliver regular, accurate reporting information in line with D&G Group Change standards. Ensure the smooth transition of all constituent Technology & Change deliverables into BAU (service transition). Identify and record any lessons learnt to improve the delivery of future changes Skills And Experience Comfortable matrix managing cross functional teams. Comfortable working with and managing Stakeholders at all levels of the business. Strong communicators comfortable communicating and summarising technical messages to technical and non-technical Stakeholders. Understanding of project frameworks (e.g. PMP, Prince2 etc) and delivery approaches (e.g. Agile and Waterfall).
