Assembly Operative
Due to increased company demand, a vacancy for a full-time Assembly Operative has been created. This role would suit individuals that have worked in a manufacturing or assembly background, have done assembly in the past, or may be willing to be trained.
HOURS: 1.30pm to 10.00pm (Mon-Thurs) 1pm-8pm (Fri)
PAY RATE: £13.50 p/h
Day to Day Activities:
* Working to a technical drawing and assembling components, ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.
* Inspection of assembled work.
* Keeping workspace clean to full 5S.
* Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company.
* Performing preventive maintenance and reporting and resolving assembly line issues.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
* Working well as a productive member of the team.
* Identifying and resolving potential problems that could lead to equipment failure.
* Determining availability of components and tools.
* Reading and confirming the drawing and parts list, interpreting measurements and verifying drawing specifications.
* Working with a variety of hand and power tools.
Necessary Experience:
* Engineering, Manufacturing, or Assembly experience.
* Good attendance and timekeeping are essential.
* Enthusiastic approach to work.
* Maintain all works order test documents.
* Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
* Physical requirements including prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
* Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products.
* Manual lifting requirement.
