It all started back in 2007 when Loren agreed to Richards crazy dream, and they together purchased the Bulls Head in Repton. Fast forward 17 years and they have a thriving pub business. With 7 gorgeous sites, over 500 employees, an industry leading food & drink menu and just to be a bit different, 7 mascot alpacas. With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Loren are always on the lookout for their next project and would like to reach a portfolio of 20 pubs in the near future. What the role entails? Leading by example to maximise our guest & team experience is at the heart of this role – through your leadership, our aim is to have a highly skilled & motivated team that in turn, offers our guests a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. You will work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to ensure that all of our guests receive excellent food & drink, quality & efficient service standards and in a warm & friendly environment. Drive a culture of learning & development across your bar team to better enhance the guest experience and our team’s job satisfaction scores. Conducting monthly team meetings, 121s and personal development reviews, focussing on our team is a priority to ensure they are well supported and motivated in their roles. Managing all areas of the bar including the monitoring of ticket times (dispense & delivery), stock control, cellar management, ordering, waste & margin control whilst ensuring adherence to our policies and procedures. Managing staffing levels in line with budget to create rotas that maximise the efficiency of both the main bar & cocktail bar. Enhancing current processes and ways of working to better the overall operation of the bars - whether it is the perfect Cappuccino made by our baristas, an ice-cold Mojito from our cocktail specialists or a pint of Estrella from our main bar, we are striving for excellence in everything we do, and the team need your support to get them there Who are we looking for? A positive and energetic person, driven to consistently provide a 'WOW' service for all our guests. Somebody who naturally aligns with our values, which are to be warm & friendly and genuinely ’guest-obsessed’. An experienced bar manager, who enjoys working in a high volume, fast paced environment. Somebody who shares our passion for Chilled Pubs and is genuinely excited to be part of our team. Somebody with a flexible approach to work, this isn’t a typical 9-5 role, and both evening and weekend work will be required. What’s in it for you?
