The role involves assisting the Project Manager with plant design, procurement strategy, timely information flow for construction and commissioning, and providing cost data for forecasts and variations.

Programme Manager responsibilities:
Ensure project costs stay within the tender or varied allowance and that all payment applications are submitted on or before the due date.
Ensure that contract reviews and monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on time and assist with the Project Management strategy.
Assist in the production of the contract programme; monitor programme and produce progress reports.
Provide data for the timely production of O&M manuals and assist in the preparation of the construction completion.
Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutions
Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules monthly.
Ensure that designs are developed to be safe for construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance. Complete the capitalization process by recording project costs as assets on the balance sheet, allowing for depreciation over the asset's useful life.
Programme Manager requirements:
Working knowledge of various conditions of contract especially NEC
Engineering/ Technical qualification (HNC minimum) required
Experience of supply chain expedition
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
CDM & Health & Safety knowledge
Desirable:
Relevant professional qualification an advantage
