MET Technician - Backshift

* Work shift Pattern is 15:00pm – 01:00am (Monday – Thursday) and 15:00pm – 20:00pm (Friday)
* Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week
* Salary Base: £35,344 per annum, includes night shift allowance (based on experience)
* Gaining experience from colleagues in a professional environment

* Uniform given, heated workshop and parking on site
Description
We have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a MET Technician, you will be working within our busy Bodyshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities
* Stripping / refitting of bodywork panels in readiness for the bodyshop
* Stripping / refitting of new parts.
* The ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team.
* Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards
* Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order
* Maintain high standards of house-keeping
What we are looking for!
* As a MET Technician, you will ensure the repair of motor vehicles of all types is carried out to the highest standard.
* Ideal candidate should have industry qualifications or have minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role
* Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
* Good time management, planning skills and problem solving skills
* Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
* Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
* Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
* Ability to work as part of a Team
* Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
* A full, valid UK driving licence is required
