Our communication team is made up of trusted creators and advisors working in partnership with the business. The creative designer role is a key part of this team and supports delivery.
You will create materials that support our internal and external campaigns, aligning with our brand and campaign guidelines.
This role will take you on an adventure of opportunities, providing the chance to support and, where appropriate, lead projects. While based within our energy and water business unit, you will have the opportunity to work across all business areas, supporting the creation of digital and print-based graphics.
We believe in connecting people, places, and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure. You will help tell the story of keeping the UK connected and will experience some of the largest and most technically advanced infrastructure projects being delivered across the UK.
Previous experience in the construction and infrastructure sector is not required.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Create artwork from set briefs, including banners to support award ceremonies, new product launches, offers, current campaigns, display adverts, email assets, etc.
* Work with the social media and digital creator to develop social media content, including images, videos (reels), and graphics.
* Manage photography and videography, including collecting new assets and managing existing ones.
* Photo editing and manipulation skills.
* Provide pre, during, and post-event delivery support, including the creation of artwork, material, and videography and photography.
* Lead on projects with support from the communications business partner and/or head of communications.
* Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external creative agencies, and external suppliers alongside the communications business partner.
Desirable skills and attributes:
* Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo editing software; Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly, but not limited to: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, & Premiere Pro).
* Excellent creativity and innovation.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated.
* Experience with product photography.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects/workflow.
* Ideally over two years of experience in an in-house/creative agency.
