Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for developing and executing an events calendar that effectively builds Ocorian's presence across Ocorian's five market segments: Capital Markets; Corporate; Fund Services; Private Client; and Regulatory, Compliance and Legal.

Event strategy and planning
* Executing an established events strategy that is aligned with Ocorian's global commercial and brand objectives
* Executing an events process that maximises ROI from events (hosted or attended) through appropriate planning, budgeting, targeting, logistics and follow up
* Attending and managing event on the day, where required, to ensure they run smoothly
* Updating and maintaining the global event calendar and planner
* Creating and communicating event production schedules and run-of-show documents to coordinate activities effectively with internal/external stakeholders
* Develop new event concepts, agendas, and timelines that enhance the attendee experience and meet strategic priorities
Main responsibilities
Budget Management & Vendor Coordination
* Manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, vendors, and suppliers (e.g. caterers, AV providers, production teams).
* Track expenditures and ensure all vendor contracts and invoices align with agreed terms.
Event management
* Oversee project management of all events undertaken by Ocorian
* Working with BD support, sales and marketing to target effectively prior to the event
* Working with Marketing to ensure the correct materials and collateral are available for the event
* Throughout the event ensuring that sales representatives are effectively undertaking BD activities
* Maximising effectiveness of events through proactive content production before / during / after key events
Post-Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement
* Conduct post-event evaluations, collecting feedback from attendees, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
* Analyse event performance metrics (e.g., attendance, engagement, and ROI) to identify areas for improvement.
* Positioning events strategy and effectiveness to CCO and other senior management
* Producing event reports (including financial planning) to be included in CCO reporting to the board
Qualifications Required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing qualification.
* At least 6 years marketing and events experience
* Proven experience managing corporate events, conferences, or exhibitions.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
* Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Team management skills, overseeing an Event Executive
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across teams.
* Outstanding commercial and business awareness
* Proficiency with event management software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management platforms (SalesForce, Asana and Hubspot preferred)
