ATA Recruitment has partnered up with a well-established FMCG company that specializes in food manufacturing. The company has a turnover of £1 billion globally with multiple sites across the UK, providing a range of food to leading retailers.
The company has been trading for over 30 years and is focused on delivering food excellence to its customers. Due to current growth, the company is now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team to undertake activities and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department.
ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Maintenance Engineers from the food/FMCG sector based in the Lincolnshire area or someone who is willing to move to this region.
Key accountabilities for the position of Maintenance Engineer:
1. Manage Maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
2. Maintain mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
3. Maintain electrical components such as panels, sensors, relays, safety circuits, and motors.
4. Ensure that company health & safety, and hygiene policies are adhered to.
5. Drive PPM and TPM improvements across the plant and manage the site against the following KPIs - Downtime, OEE, PPM, TPM, MTBR, and MTBF.
6. Create an efficient and effective Maintenance function that supports all production activities.
7. React to breakdowns.
8. Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance.
9. Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding.
10. Conduct basic PLC fault finding.
11. Replace and repair electrical components.
12. Replace mechanical components.
Requirements for the position of Maintenance Engineer:
1. An experienced Maintenance Engineer.
2. A proven track record in Health & Safety.
3. A proven track record of working within FMCG with suitable qualifications (minimum HNC).
4. Ability to fault-find electrically and mechanically.
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
