Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a valued, vibrant and forward- thinking public sector organisation based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Projects Lawyer to join them on permanent basis.
The role will be hugely diverse, dealing with a range of commercial projects, helping to shape the region!
About the Projects Lawyer role:
The successful Projects Lawyer will have had previous experience with dealing with commercial projects and knowledge of commercial contracts.
This Projects Lawyer role will provide you with the opportunity to grow and challenge yourself by dealing with major projects, complex contracts, transport schemes and much more.
The successful Projects Lawyer will be responsible for the following duties:
* Drafting high value commercial contracts and various agreements
* Liaising with internal, external clients and stakeholders
* Providing assistance with contract disputes, dispute resolution.
* Advising on subsidy control and public procurement
* Delivery of major projects, including; infrastructure and construction projects, the energy sector, regeneration schemes, public transport projects, employment skills and further education programmes

Experience required for the Projects Lawyer role:
Our client is keen to hear from candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE. Experience in the public sector and relevant areas of law are preferred, though our client is keen to hear from candidates with transferrable experience from other sectors with an ambition to learn and develop within a public sector organisation.
