Job Title: General Assistant
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Purpose: To provide assistance ensuring smooth service across all departments in the hotel including bar, restaurant, housekeeping, reception, and spa.
Daily Duties:
* To report to work on time, according to the rota provided.
* To follow the procedures provided to ensure the cleanliness and operation of the department(s) is to the correct standard at all times.
* To ensure that guest satisfaction is paramount at all times. Offer all customers and guests polite, courteous, and friendly service, and be prepared to go out of your way to help a customer – this includes having a general knowledge of all the facilities at the Hotel.
* To act upon instructions given by the management team.
* To assist in the bar and restaurant as required including delivery of food orders to tables and clearing as required. Regularly check lounge areas to clear any glasses & crockery.
* Assist on reception with confident and efficient operation of tills, room billing, and cash handling, ensuring all goods taken by the customer are billed for.
* Assist guests with luggage, delivery of meals and drinks to guest rooms.
* Assist housekeeping with linen deliveries and room cleaning in the event of a late arrival.
* Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £8.10-£11.42 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
