We have an excellent opportunity for a Boarding House Matron to join our team, assisting with the care of our pupils within a Boarding House at Taunton International School.
The role is the first point of contact for pupils and requires someone who is proactive, flexible and empathetic, providing a strong presence in the Boarding House during the day. In addition, the role is responsible for overseeing, and working alongside, a team of Domestic staff to ensure that the house is cleaned to a high standard.
With experience of working with children and young people, and a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding, you will be capable of providing the highest possible care and attention to our pupils. To be successful in your application you will have a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation, along with skills such as: exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act on your own initiative.

This role is full time and permanent, Term Time only working 35 hours per week working to a set rota, working alternate Saturdays. You will be required to work an additional two weeks in the summer term which will form part of your salary.
You may also be able to work some overtime during holiday periods to assist with holiday courses.
