Security Engineer – Asset Intelligence
Warwick
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try within our Asset Intelligence Business.
Ideally, you will based in or around the Warwick area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
1. Attend any site for installation and/or maintenance spread around England/Wales/Scotland, overnight stay may be required.
2. Build and maintenance of rapid deployment cctv towers in workshop environment.
3. Installation and maintenance of cctv and timelapse systems.
4. Work on a call out rota which will currently see the operative on call every other weekend.
5. Willing to undertake Drone Pilot training and qualification (supplied).
6. Plan and undertake Drone survey flights as part of a site security assessment.
7. Engage with Artificial Intelligence systems as part of CCTV build and installation.
8. Engage with customers to recognise site security needs.
9. Manage their times and complete their works in a timely manner and in line with the contractual KPI’s.
10. Ensure that all works are completed to a high standard and that they fall within the current industry standards.
11. Assist the Technology Manager in ensuring that all aspects of H&S are adhered to.
12. Attend daily safety briefings.
13. A clean driving licence.
14. Be willing to complete E-Learning as well as external training to ensure that you keep up with the industry standard.
15. Able to pass required DBS checks to work in security.
About You:
16. An industry applicable ONC or City & Guilds / NVQ equivalent is preferred.
17. Industry experience of electronic security systems.
18. Relevant CSCS/ECS cards preferred.
19. Technical problem solving experience
20. Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
