Job Description
Job Purpose
The service tech will be assigned tenant related work orders each day for completion in all three areas of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, successfully prioritizing issues based on urgency, making contact with tenants, diagnosing root causes and making all necessary repairs in a timely manner and meeting or exceeding Elite's and our customer's standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
3. Perform routine maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
4. Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances
5. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and regulations
6. Communicate effectively with clients and team members
7. Ensure units pass inspections
8. Any other tasks as needed or assigned by supervisors
9. Be available for on-call service according to on-call policy guidelines
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
3. Knowledge of local codes and regulations
4. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
8. Comfortable using an iPhone, email and Google applications
9. Bilingual
10. Must provide own basic tools
11. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
12. Practice excellent work ethic
13. Willingness to learn and take direction
14. Demonstrate integrity in all work
15. Represent Elite in a positive and professional manner at all times, including while operating company vehicles
