We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Cabin Cleaning Services team based in Heathrow Airport (Terminal 3).
Shifts Available:
1. DAYS: 4 on 2 off – Mixed start times - early start 05:00 & late finish 23:00
2. NIGHTS: 3 on 3 off - working hours 17:00 – 06:00

As a Team Leader within Cabin Cleaning Services, your role will have a dual purpose. Firstly, you will drive & operate the steps vehicle to enable your team to enter the aircraft. You will then work alongside your team to provide cleaning services against tight timescales to enable clients to turn the plane round and achieve flight slots.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the team is ready for their shift and performing tasks while complying with HSE guidelines.
2. Conducting regular and robust audits of the planes to ensure standards are met.
3. Keeping the client updated on progress.
4. Completing a Police check, full financial credit check, and 5 years’ worth of referencing.
Team Leader – Experience & Attributes:
1. Proactive management of cleaning teams on an individual and group basis.
2. Ensuring that the team maintains quality standards of cleaning and that security checks are carried out effectively on their assigned aircraft.
3. Safely driving and operating aircraft steps and positioning them onto the aircraft.
4. Liaising with movement control to obtain daily work details and relevant paperwork.
5. Attending briefings regarding key focus cleaning areas / specific requirements and effectively communicating the briefing to the team.
6. Efficiently planning and allocating tasks fairly to team members.
7. Accurately completing and returning secure clean and vehicle defect documentation.
8. Collaboratively working with the allocations team, effectively communicating aircraft arrival time, delays, and secure cleaning turnaround times.
9. Monitoring the team to ensure all members are working to agreed standards.
10. Completing final walkthroughs with the teams to rectify and prevent call backs.
11. Effectively managing, coaching, and mentoring aircraft cleaners to meet service level agreements.
12. Responsible for ensuring absence management processes are effectively managed.
13. Maintaining staff discipline and conformance with Company and regulatory requirements.
14. Ensuring all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR.
