About the role
Join our Development Team in Brighton, where you'll lead projects across our Product Ranges, managing complex building and access development projects with multi-disciplinary teams, including technology studies, new product development, product enhancements, and regulatory maintenance.
10. Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers, providing guidance and support for project management.
11. Collaborate with the Resource and Delivery Manager to plan resources across multiple projects, maximizing delivery efficiency.
12. Support Product Managers with cost and resource planning for current and upcoming projects, contributing to long-term roadmap planning.
13. Work with stakeholders to coordinate new product development activities, ensuring alignment with project deadlines.
14. Monitor schedule progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans, including updating the project’s risk register.
15. Manage key resource requirements and collaborate with the Resource Manager to assign teams for timely project delivery.
16. Prepare project work breakdown structures with Product Management and Principal Engineers to ensure effective performance measurement.
17. Manage third-party suppliers to align their work with project plans, acting as the primary contact for development contract management.
18. Present regular progress reports and escalate issues to the Senior Management Group for resolution.
19. Oversee budgets by providing monthly updates, managing project spend, and producing accurate estimates for material costs.
What are we looking for?
20. Extensive Project Management experience, working across Software Projects and New Product Introductions.
21. Strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with our senior management teams to drive cross-program consistency.
