About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Project Manager on behalf of a leading Hospitality firm in the City of London. This role will play a key role in supporting a critical organisational change initiative as the business undergoes its next transformation phase.
Following the introduction of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) and revised business line structure earlier in 2024. This is a strategic moment to join and contribute to shaping the company’s future operations and work culture.
The successful candidate will support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in managing restructuring processes and potential redundancies. Your expertise in business change and project management will be pivotal in ensuring smooth, timely execution of plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and is ready to take a hands-on approach to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Lead the organisational change project from planning to execution, aligning HR teams with the central tracker, milestones, and timelines.
* Collaboration with HRBPs: Partner closely with HRBPs to manage stakeholder relationships, provide project support, and ensure seamless coordination of HR activities.
* Restructuring Oversight: Assist in preparing critical documentation—such as letters and meeting scripts—and facilitate effective communication with external legal advisors.
* Change Management: Drive both business-as-usual and restructuring processes with a hands-on approach, actively supporting the HR team through change management activities.
* Compliance Assurance: Utilize your strong knowledge of employment law to guide the HR team through complex restructuring scenarios, ensuring all processes remain legally compliant.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Project and Change Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing projects and driving business change, ideally within HR or organisational restructuring contexts.
* Strong Employment Law Knowledge: Proficient understanding of employment law, especially in relation to redundancy and restructuring.
* Collaborative Approach: A proven ability to work closely with HRBPs, providing both strategic and tactical project support.
* Hands-On Attitude: Practical and proactive, ready to engage in BAU activities as needed.
* Exceptional Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively.
