About the Role
Are you an experienced Well Integrity Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Operations team at our Gas Storage Facility in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our well assets while protecting personnel, plant, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the safe operation of the Gas Storage Facility by ensuring all well-related assets meet high integrity standards.
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) in line with best practices such as NORSOK, API, OGUK, and ISO standards.
* Act as the Technical Lead for risk assessment of well activities and operations, ensuring ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) principles are applied.
* Define and manage well integrity performance measures, ensuring data is recorded, analyzed, and used for continuous improvement.
* Plan and provide operational support for well maintenance, interventions, and workover operations.
* Conduct inspections of wells and sub-surface equipment, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff in Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in the oil and gas industry or process industries, ideally in a well integrity role, but candidates with general mechanical integrity experience will also be considered.
* Proficiency in using a CMMS system (Maximo) and document management software.
* Strong knowledge of industry best practices with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering (essential).
* IWCF Level 4 certification (desirable).
* NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
