Working with the Screening and Immunisation Managers and Consultant in Public Health- Screening and Immunisation Lead, applicants will commission consistently resilient, high quality, national screening, and Immunisation programmes within the defined geography of NHS England (HIOW). The Screening and Immunisation Team also has a key role in leading changes to reduce inequalities in screening and Immunisation programmes. Depending on experience and working pattern, the postholders may have responsibility for specific immunisation or screening programmes or a mixture of both. Programme responsibilities may change according to the needs of the service. The post holders will ideally have a sound knowledge of screening and immunisation programmes and of commissioning population health programmes. The postholder will have the ability to engage and work with a wide range of partners, working independently and as part of a team. They will also be able to synthesise information and data from a range of sources into professional briefing papers.
